Die National Geographic Explorer ist ein nach modernsten Maßstäben gebautes Expeditions-Schiff und der neueste Zugang in der Lindblad Flotte. Mit maximal 148 Gästen in 81 Aßenkabinen und Suiten befährt die NG EXPLORER die arktischen Regionen, die Antarktis, die baltische See und den Indischen Ozean. Sie ist ausgerüstet mit Stabilisatoren und Eisklasse, um auch in den Polarregionen auf höchstem Komfort für den Gast navigierbar zu sein. An Bord sind u.a. Kajaks und Zodiacs und ein "ROV" ein Remote Operated Vehicle, das Ihnen das Leben unter Wasser bis in Ihre Kabine bringt.
Öffentliche Räume:
Bistro Bar; Kartenzimmer, Restaurant; Fahrstuhl auf den Gäste-decks; Bibliothek, Lounge mit Bar und modernster Technik für Präsentationen und Vorträge; "Naßraum" mit Schließfächern für Ihre Expeditions-Ausrüstung und eine Observation Lounge. Unsere Politik der "offenen Brücke" erlaubt es unseren Gästen, jederzeit den Kapitänen und Offizieren über die Schulter zu schauen und so einen Einblick in die Kunst des Navigierens zu bekommen. Internet Cafe.
Mahlzeiten: Eine Sitzung und offene Tischwahl ermöglicht ein einfaches Kennenlernen Ihrer Mitreisenden. Die Menüs sind international mit einem lokalen Flair der Region, in der wir gerade kreuzen.
Kabinen: Alle Kabinen sind Außenkabinen mit Bullauge, Fenster oder Balkon, alle mit privatem Bad/WC und Klimaanlage.
Expeditions-Ausrüstung: Zodiacs, Kayaks, Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV), Unterwasser-Mikrophon, SplashCam, Unterwasser- Videokamera, Video Mikroskop, Schnorchel Ausrüstung.
Weitere Einrichtungen: Arzt, Unterwasser- Spezialist, Foto-Speczialist (auf ausgewiesenen Abfahrten) Video Chronist.
Wellness: An Bord befinden sich zwei ausgewiesene Wellness Spezialisten. Weiterhin ein verglastes Panorama-Fitness Center, LEX Spa für kosmetische Treatments, Friseur und Sauna.
